1. Purpose

These General Conditions of Sale define the contractual relationship between Newland Gear and the Buyer, and the terms applicable to any purchase made through newlandgear.com.

Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Conditions. The Buyer acknowledges having read them prior to purchase.

Newland Gear reserves the right to modify these terms at any time to comply with new regulations or improve user experience. The conditions in force on the date of the order apply.

2. Products

Products offered on newlandgear.com include guitars, basses, and related accessories distributed by Newland Gear within available stock.

We reserve the right to update or modify our product range at any time.

Descriptions and images are provided for reference; minor variations may occur. All items are available for delivery to Canada and the United States.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable Canadian taxes (GST/HST).

Prices do not include delivery costs, which are calculated and shown during checkout.

Newland Gear reserves the right to modify pricing at any time; the applicable price is that shown at the time of order confirmation.

4. Orders and Payment

Orders are placed directly through our website. Customers may create an account to track orders and manage information.

Payment Methods

We accept secure payments via Stripe, which supports:

  • All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. No payment data is stored by Newland Gear.

Payment must be completed before an order is processed or shipped.

Order Confirmation

Once payment is validated, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your order.

Newland Gear will contact each buyer to confirm availability and estimated delivery time for instruments.

Orders are processed within 2 business days after payment confirmation for in-stock items.

For made-to-order or pre-order items, estimated completion and delivery times will be communicated directly to the customer.

5. Ownership

Ownership of goods remains with Newland Gear until full payment is received.

6. Returns and Withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to request a return or exchange.

Returned products must be in new, unplayed condition, with all original packaging and accessories.

Please contact us first at contact@newlandgear.com to initiate a return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Once the product is inspected:

  • Full refund if the instrument is new and unused

  • Up to 75% refund if minor wear or scratches are found

  • Up to 50% refund for noticeable impacts or cosmetic damage

  • No refund for modified or repaired instruments

Refunds are processed within 14 business days after the item’s return and inspection.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout.

We deliver to Canada and the United States using tracked shipping services (UPS, FedEx, others).

Delivery times vary depending on location and stock availability:

  • In-stock items: typically shipped within 2–5 business days

  • Made-to-order or pre-orders: delivery estimate will be confirmed by email

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon carrier pickup.

Inspect your package upon arrival and report any shipping damage to both the carrier and Newland Gear within 3 business days.

8. Warranty

All instruments sold by Newland Gear include a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty claims can be made by emailing contact@newlandgear.com with detailed information and photos.

Do not attempt repairs or modifications yourself, as this voids the warranty.

Depending on the issue, instruments may be directed to our service center in Canada or to an authorized luthier.

9. Responsibility

Newland Gear’s responsibility is limited to the value of the product sold.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or issues arising from external causes (internet failures, delays, customs, etc.).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on newlandgear.com—including text, images, logos, and product data—is the property of Newland Gear, respective Brand Owners, and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Privacy

Newland Gear is committed to protecting your privacy.

We collect only necessary data to process your orders and do not share or sell personal information.

You may request correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@newlandgear.com.

12. Governing Law

These Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

In case of dispute, the competent courts of Surrey, BC shall have jurisdiction.
